Pandemic Influenza Plans
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) an influenza (flu) pandemic is "a global outbreak that occurs when a new influenza A virus causes serious human illness and spreads easily from person to person." Currently there is no flu pandemic. However, the possibility for a global outbreak of a new influenza exists, so it is imperative that health care providers take steps to be prepared for such an occurrence. Posters

Grievance Posters
Network #15 created a greivance poster which specifies phone numbers for the ESRD Network, the State Health Department, and other numbers for Medicare billing and coverage issues. These posters should be prominanty displayed in each facility where patients can easily view them. One state-specific English and Spanish laminated copy was sent to each facility at the beginning of 2007, but if you need a replacement you may contact Network #15 at 303-831-8818.

Dialysis Facility Compare (DFC)
In early 2007 Network #15 mailed to each facility two laminated posters (one in English and one in Spanish) describing Dialysis Facilty Compare. These posters should be displayed in a prominent location. If you need a replacement please contact Network #15.
